Dandelions are a perennial weed, meaning they return year after year. Dandelions are commonly found in lawns, orchards, vineyards, pastures, and fields of crops. Growing from a yellow flower to a fuzzy round shape that will spread seeds when the wind blows. These weeds are a year round plant and enjoy warm sunny areas.

However, these pesky weeds can be easily controlled by having a thicker lawn, which chokes them out. Picking these weeds is not enough because of their deep root system. The use of post emergent weed control in the early spring can help keep Dandelions under control.
